Union Jack dyed woven MoD fabric

The flag made using British Ministry of Defence approved fabric UK/SC/4767. Manufactured in UK by one of the oldest local factories, 155 g/sqm MOD approved woven flag material is by far the most durable flag fabric on the market. Apart from its outstanding durability, MoD approved woven fabric has a pleasant natural feel and non-shiny wool like appearance. The MoD approved flag fabric is treated for UV resistance and would fade much slower than natural fibres or non UV treated artificial flag fabrics. White woven flag fabric panels are professionally dyed using eco ink powder (pigment) sublimation technique on both sides. Hence, dye penetrates deep within fabric fibres rather than is spread on the surface. As per digital printing on polyester fabrics. The dyed flag panel is sewn around multiple times using UK 'COATS' manufactured bonded nylon thread. The latter has superior abrasion resistance compared to generic cotton or core spun threads.

Guernsey flag (woven MoD fabric)

Guernsey flag, fully sewn using MoD approved naval grade woven fabric. Wool like traditional appearance. Woven Polyester flags of Guernsey by default are supplied with the following flag fixture types: rope & toggle; rope loops; sleeve; shiny metal eyelets (grommets). Every larger Guernsey flag where applicable has double layered corners for extra durability.  Our stitched Guernsey flags are carefully made to the official design following kind advice received from local residents. It is for this reason we use deep red and gold yellow colours, which discerns Guernsey flag from the generic St George flag. Flags made of woven polyester can be safely used in harsh weather conditions. However, special care taken is the best guarantee for the sewn flag to serve well. Do not expose flag to continuous windy weather; take it down during night and upon spotting first signs of tear and wear, send the flag back to us for a free repair works (P&P charges are paid by customer). Although woven polyester flags are machine washable at 30C, we do not recommend tumble or hot drying them. Flag of Niue island nation cometh in traditionally sewn make starting with 3/4 yard size. Golden yellow MoD approved woven polyester flag fabric blends nicely with five hand embroidered yellow stars. Positioned on fully panel stitched Union Jack part visible on both sides of ensign. For added durability in marine environment or daily use basis, please choose yellow coloured anti-fray net. Which is hardly noticeable and will not damage the overall look of Niue flag.
