National flag of Malta, fully sewn using woven MoD approved flag fabric

Primarily used as national flag, state flag and naval ensing.

Our fully sewn woven polyester Maltese flags are made using British Ministry of Defence approved fabricUK/SC/4767. Manufactured in UK by one of the oldest local factories, 155 g/sqm MOD approved woven flag material is by far the most durable flag fabric on the market. Apart from its outstanding durability, MoD approved woven fabric has a pleasant natural feel and non-shiny wool like look.

All stitched flags of Malta are fitted with heavy duty reinforced headings and by default are supplied either with traditional British rope & toggle, rope loops or brass eyelets, D rings, Inglefield Clips or Stainless 316 grade steel swivel eye snap clips.

The St George's arms are quality dye-sublimated on both sides.

All MoD approved flags are sewn using bondednylonUK manufactured COATS thread. Its outstanding strength, resistance to abrasion andsea water makes it essential for quality outdoor manufacutre. For added durability fly end carries hidden 504 type overlock hem to securely hold fabric along the cutting lines. The edge hem is folded afterwards and sewn on using multipe stitch type 301 double seam along the fly end forming very durable interlocked strip at the flag's right edge. The latter part in most cases is the first to sustian premature tearing due to whip effect making outromost flag edge move extremely fast under high winds.

Fully sewn MOD approved woven polyester Malta flag; Flag size: 2.5yd 90x45in 225x112 cm. All our MoD Malta flags carry triple sewn side hems and quadruple sewn fly end's hem for extra durability! Woven Polyester flags of United Kingdom by default are supplied with the following flag fixture types: rope & toggle; rope loops; sleeve; shiny metal eyelets (grommets). Flags made of UK manufactured woven polyester can be safely used in harsh weather conditions. However, special care taken is the best guarantee for the sewn flag to serve a long time. Do not expose flag to continuous windy weather; take it down during night and upon spotting first signs of tear and wear, send the flag back to us for a free repair works (P&P charges are paid by customer). Although woven polyester flags are machine washable at 40C, we do not recommend tumble or hot drying them. Stitched woven polyester flags can be steam ironed straight on in middle temperature.
